Today is World Sleep Day.
What to do for a good night’s sleep
Today is March 19, World Sleep Day. This day is celebrated on the third Friday of March every year. The day was first observed in 2006 by the World Sleep Day Committee of the World Association of Sleep Medicine. The main purpose of this committee was to inform the people about the physical and mental damage due to lack of sleep.
World Sleep Day is an annual event sponsored by the World Association of Sleep Medicine. This year the theme of the day is ‘Regular Sleep: Healthy Future’.
Many of us have insomnia. Sleep is not good. And due to not getting proper sleep, various diseases and complications are appearing.
The treatment of sleep apnea depends on its type and severity. (Depending on the attack of obstructive sleep apnea and central sleep apnea) Remember that central sleep apnea is caused by the brain. The main reason for this is usually the treatment of heart failure, liver failure and such apnea means the treatment of those diseases.
Before that you have to change some aspects of your habitual life. For example: need to change the bed style. Because, if you lie on your back, sleep apnea increases. For that, make it a habit to lie down on one side and if the nose is closed due to sinus or lung flame, then it is better to lie down on the opposite side. Even if you sleep with a pillow, it is better not to sleep with a very soft or foam cotton pillow and refrain from using a pillow to hug the chest – it is better to keep the pillow four inches high. Try to lose weight or try to control if you have a fat belly (remember that if you can lose 10 percent of your body weight, 25 percent of sleep apnea will be reduced).
Also refrain from alcohol, smoking, excessive tea-coffee and try to avoid taking sleeping pills. If you have tonsillitis, try to keep it at night (most tonsillitis is more inflammatory at night, so you can rinse with salt in lukewarm water). Regular Exercise: Among the regular exercises, walking, swimming and cycling are the best exercises.
Usually the one who calls the nose does not notice that the nose is calling. Most of the time his partner or the people around him notice the snoring. Since obstructive sleep apnea is mainly caused by narrowing of the pharyngeal cavity, experts follow three types of treatment. The most successful treatment is CPAP or Continuous Positive Airway Pressure Method. So be aware of this.
On the other hand, there may be some problems with tone and tone during this time of climate change. So be careful about this. Some techniques to keep the voice good: Tea, coffee, soft drinks should be taken carefully. Eat in moderation. * Drink at least eight to ten glasses of water a day. * Salty foods should be avoided. Stomach acid increases from saliva. And it can come up through the esophagus, which is called reflux.
